Why should I try Kitten?

Kitten is a lightweight API client built with the same building blocks as Zed, written from the ground up in Rust for speed and efficiency.

  • 1 How fast and efficient is it?

    Kitten is up to 5x faster across all operations, with lightning-fast startup and up to 10x lower memory usage than Postman, Bruno, and Yaak.

  • 2 Can I import my Postman collection?

    Yes. You can import Postman, OpenCollection, and OpenAPI formats. We’re also working on support for Insomnia and other major API formats.

  • 3 Is it stable?

    Kitten is currently in beta, so you may encounter a few bugs here and there. Your feedback will help us make Kitten more stable and improve it faster.

  • 4 Does it require signup?

    No. Kitten doesn’t require an account, and you can sync your history and collections to a Git repository if you want a backup.

  • 5 How much does it cost?

    Kitten is free for personal use. We’re planning to introduce a Yaak-like licensing model once we’re ready for public release.
